The Navy monitors air quality while the fuel tanks are being ventilated for cleaning even though there have not been any detections of volatile organic gases. Navy to Start Ventilating Red Hill Facility Tank 4; Air Quality Monitoring Continues

The webinar will discuss the Navy's groundwater monitoring well network around the area of the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility. Since groundwater can be a raw source of drinking water, the Navy utilizes data from a system of monitoring wells and combination of various models to develop a comprehensive understanding of the groundwater conditions in the area.
