MCPON James Honea visits Hawaii
HALAWA, Hawaii (May 2, 2024) Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy James Honea speaks with Sailors from Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill (NCTF-RH) while conducting a fleet engagement at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF). NCTF-RH was established by the Department of the Navy as a commitment to the environment and the people of Hawaii and is charged with the safe decommissioning of the RHBFSF. Honea focused his Pacific Fleet region visits on one-on-one conversations with Sailors, leadership, civilian partners and families that align with his priorities of making Sailors stronger, smarter, and better valued.
