JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii – Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill (NCTF-RH) launched two new communication features this week, providing the public more options to stay informed on closure activities.One of the features is a decommissioning dashboard function on the NCTF-RH mobile app that provides a visual depiction of the Red Hill Bulk

HALAWA, Hawaii (Sept. 4, 2024) Equipment is installed to control airflow into tank 6 and aid in the venting process during ventilation operations at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) in Halawa, Hawaii, Sept. 4, 2024. The tank ventilation and air monitoring procedures have undergone rigorous modeling and regulatory scrutiny to ensure the safety of the surrounding community while allowing workers to safely enter and clean the interior of the tanks. Charged with the safe decommissioning of the RHBFSF, Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill was established by the Department of the Navy as a commitment to the community and the environment. Navy to Begin Cleaning Second Set of Red Hill Fuel Tanks

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii – Navy Closure Task Force-Red Hill (NCTF-RH) personnel will begin cleaning the second set of fuel tanks at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) Sept. 4.With approval from the Hawaii Department of Health (DOH), NCTF-RH will start by venting tank 6 at the facility, replicating the process previously
